FOR SALE. 1992 Honda Accord EX
(H22A VTEC motor, Manual transmission, 2-door coupe)

Asking $2800 (or best offer!)

. . . ABOUT . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. 190k+ on body (overhauled in 2008)
. 120k+ on motor (overhauled in 2011)
. Clean, stock blue interior
. Recent alignment, and tuneup, with new fluids everywhere
. Recent 2014 NYS inspection

The motor has great compression, runs well, and starts and idles smoothly. You can feel the power when VTEC engages. The suspension is nice and stiff and rides smooth and confidently - especially with the new polyurethane bushings, bearings, and balljoints everywhere. The sunroof, windows, locks, seatbelts, heat, defrosters, and the other accessories all work (except Cruise Control, which was removed). The body looks good, but the paint is faded (white hides it) and it has the usual quarter-panel rust on both sides, so the car would really benefit from having a fresh paint job and the little wear-and-tear dings filled in. Overall, the car was definitely cared for throughout its life.

Besides the suggested bodywork, the car is otherwise in excellent mechanical shape, and all suspension and engine work was done meticulously with no expenses spared (lots of new OEM bolts, seals and hardware were used). The wheels could use a re-balancing someday (just for comfort), but the tires are like new with tons of tread. It drives great - very peppy and fun - and should make just about any trip of any distance to its new home.

The AIR CONDITIONER had always worked in the past, but recently slowly started to blow warmer and warmer, and now doesn't seem to kick on. The compressor never had any problems in the past, so it probably just needs a recharge, which I don't think has ever been done.

Overall the car is nice and clean and ready to go. Includes a pair of RUST REPAIR PATCH PANELS with sale as a bonus. The car is currently registered and insured, so test drives are possible.
